KONO the Pony needs a home
Kono came to Longmeadow as an owner surrender. The owner had purchased Kono for her young kids but then turned her out without training or handling. When she decided to start working with her she found her difficult and bad mannered. Kono is not appropriate for children at this time. She needed training to learn how to pick up her feet for the farrier and stand politely for grooming. She is a young and energetic pony and she''s not afraid to tell you when she disagrees with you.
Kono has benefitted tremendously from Longmeadow''s groundwork training program. She can now have her feet trimmed by the farrier without sedation and she is learning quickly to play agility games. Kono would make a great obstacle course pony or cart pony. She is very pretty and smart!
